The Stalk: The cheetah is hiding in the grass. Cheetahs stalk their prey to within 30 yards before they chase. These photos and our information was taken from "The Cheetah" by Nathan Aaseng. I digitally colored it in. Their prey are Thompson's gazelles, impalas, hares, and wildebeest calves.
Cheetahs hunt by day and they can get up to 70 mph but they can only run that fast for 15-20 seconds. I colored the cheetahs and the grass the same color because it helps them blend in.

Cheetahs live in grasslands and semidesert regions. Humans are taking over the cheetahs habitat and killing the cheetahs prey.
Cheetahs usually have 3-4 cubs but sometimes they only have one or can have up to eight. The color of the fur is lighter and more grey. (Eliah colored this one for me)
Eliah colored this one too. She wanted to make one and girl and one a boy so the one with pink eyes is the girl.
I really like cheetahs. I like their speed and I like wars and cheetahs have wars against their prey. I am homeschooled and I named my school "Cheetah School"
